I’m so excited for tonight’s return of The Good Place on NBC. This was my favorite new show of the fall, and tonight it returns to kick off its final 3 weeks of the season. When we last left off, the folks from the Bad Place had arrived to collect fake Eleanor, but she pleaded with Michael to let her stay and continue to prove she could change and justify her place there. So he decided to bring the matter before the great and powerful Shawn. Meanwhile, Chidi and the real Eleanor really hit it off – it was easy to see why they were originally paired together as soulmates. And in the episode’s cliffhanger, Tahani discovered the truth about Jianyu and his “meditation den.”

Will fake Eleanor be kicked out of her home now that real Eleanor has arrived? Which Eleanor will Chidi choose? (Not to wish ill will on real Eleanor, but I really liked the growing relationship between Chidi and fake Eleanor, so I hope she’s out of the picture soon.) What will Tahani do with the news about Jianyu, and will we learn about how he ended up in the Good Place? And who is this Shawn who will decide fake Eleanor’s fate?

On tonight’s episode, “Chidi’s Choice,” Eleanor makes a surprising personal discovery. Meanwhile, Michael tasks an indecisive Chidi with coming to an important decision, and Jianyu makes a big announcement.

See the return of the double Eleanors tonight on NBC at 8:30/7:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Great American Baking Show, The Big Bang Theory, The Great Indoors, Life in Pieces, Superstore, The Blacklist, and Top Chef.

On the last new episode of The Big Bang Theory, we watched our favorite couple get divorced. Or rather, that’s what it seemed like, when Sheldon, Amy, Leonard, and Penny decided to make the move permanent by splitting up all the things from Sheldon & Leonard’s apartment. Sheldon being Sheldon, of course, assumed he’d get everything he wanted, as if he knew what mattered to Leonard and what didn’t. It became so personal that Leonard ended up claiming the apartment’s flag and ended up wearing it completely naked to do his laundry, nearly giving Sheldon a heart attack. Of course, Sheldon ended up renting his room in the apartment to some stranger (Christopher Lloyd!), much to Leonard and Penny’s dismay. My favorite part had to be Leonard shipping off his underpants from underneath the flag.

And of course, we’re down to the wire on Bernadette’s pregnancy. Stuart and Raj were at each other’s throats trying to be the most helpful to her and Howard in the final few weeks. And at the end of the episode, Bernie went into labor. Yay! Oh, and in case you didn’t see… TV Line posted a thing from the powers that be for the show, who explained about Bernadette’s pregnancy. She’s actually been pregnant for like 11 months in the show’s timeline, so they had to speed it up or fans would begin to notice. LOL

I’ve seen tonight’s episode, and it’s really fun. It takes place on Amy’s birthday (which means the annual birthday sexy times for her and Sheldon! LOL) – and, in case the episode title doesn’t give it away – the baby’s birthday as well. And for those who are hoping not to “be” inside the delivery room during the birth, rest easy. We get the befores and afters, not durings. There’s a great, great moment about Howard’s mom, too, which was very poignant, since the actress passed away just over two years ago. All in all, this is one of my favorite episodes this season.

On tonight’s episode, “The Birthday Synchronicity,” Howard and Bernadette welcome their new baby, and Sheldon and Amy celebrate Amy’s birthday. (I couldn’t resist throwing up a second picture for it. Please do click on it to see the full version. It’s totally worth it. LMAO)

To see how the joint birthday goes, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great Indoors, Chopped, The Great American Baking Show, Beat Bobby Flay, & Top Chef.

superstore1110smallLast week on Superstore, it was election day, and Cloud 9 served as a polling station. Dina and Glenn accidentally destroyed a bunch of the ballots and then bickered a lot while trying to figure out a way to cover it up. Meanwhile, Amy and Jonah were having fun creating an alternative election pamphlet, but this came to an abrupt end when Jonah’s new girlfriend Namoi showed up – Amy seemed a bit jealous when she learned Jonah had a girlfriend. And Mateo realized he was an illegal alien and desperately tried to get a hold of an “I Voted” sticker in order to stop people from questioning him as to why he hadn’t voted yet.

Tonight we get a double dose of episodes for the fall finale. This show is a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see how Cloud 9 deals with Black Friday! While I really like Amy and Jonah together, it seems odd that the writers are still pursuing this will-they-wont-they storyline. They sort of wrote themselves into a corner by making her married with a child – who wants to root for a homewrecker in a comedy?!

On tonight’s first episode, “Seasonal Help,” unruly seasonal employees are hired to help over the holidays. Among them is Amy’s husband, a development that exposes her in unexpected ways. Also, the temps frustrate Jonah and Garrett, and Glenn seeks the perfect person to play the store’s Santa.

Then, in “Black Friday,” the staffers all fall ill with food poisoning on the busiest shopping day of the year, yet a frantic Amy suspects her nausea is morning sickness. Also: Glenn’s demeanor changes following a pharmacy trip; and Mateo and Cheyenne embark on a side business.

Catch the double episodes tonight on NBC at 8/7c & 8:30/7:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, The Great Indoors, Life in Pieces, The Blacklist, Pitch, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and 60 Days In.

tbbt1017smallLast week on The Big Bang Theory, Amy’s apartment flooded, and Penny suggested she and Leonard stay in her apartment while Amy moves into Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment with Sheldon. It took some convincing – where Leonard told him he could count it as a scientific experiment – but Sheldon finally agreed, although he decided that, to be in neutral territory, he and Amy would stay in Penny’s apartment instead. After words of wisdom from their friends and a proposal from Amy that all sex stays off the table (much to Sheldon’s relief), they (temporarily) moved in together. Of course, it wasn’t that easy. Sheldon had to put up with Amy coughing up phlegm in the bathroom while brushing her teeth, and in no surprise, Sheldon was kind of a bear to live with… He snores – bad – and ended up sleep-pushing Amy off the bed. The next day, Sheldon said he’d slept like a baby, while Amy was ready to quit, but they traded barbs and burns back and forth, which actually turned them on. So silly!

And can we talk about how weird Raj is? LOL He went with Howard and Bernie to her OB-GYN appointment, which was strange enough, but then he made a comment about how perfect Bernie’s cervix is, which took it over-the-top weird. Annnnnnd he’s the only one of the three who knows the sex of the baby because his father’s a gynecologist and he saw the sex on the ultrasound. LMAO

On tonight’s episode, “The Hot Tub Contamination,” Leonard and Penny must separate a quarreling Sheldon and Amy when their cohabitation does not go as planned, and Sheldon threatens to break off their relationship when Amy refuses to adhere to the bathroom schedule. Also, Howard and Bernadette find unexpected guests at their house when they decide to stay home from a planned vacation.

Find out who the unexpected guests are tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Cake Wars, Kevin Can Wait, 2 Broke Girls, Halloween Baking Championship, Scorpion, & Conviction.

tbbt512smallTonight is the season finale of The Big Bang Theory. It’s been a season of big changes for our favorite nerds. Penny and Leonard finally tied the knot. Sheldon and Amy broke up, tried to date other people, and then got back together and ended up consummating their relationship for the first time. Howard and Raj formed a band. Stuart moved out of Howard and Bernadette’s house. Raj dated both Emily and new girl Claire, and then he and Emily broke up and he is now sort-of dating Claire. Leonard, Sheldon, and Howard invented…something (some new guidance-system thingy. LMAO I’m no scientist!) and are considering the applications and getting it patented. Amy learned that Sheldon is a secret hoarder… And finally, Howard and Bernadette found out they were pregnant! Like I said, big changes!

Last week, Leonard’s mother, Beverly, came into town and Penny volunteered to pick her up from the airport and spend some time with her in order to make a connection. Unfortunately, that didn’t go as planned. Beverly was more interested in Amy and Bernadette and their relationships with Sheldon and Howard. When Penny confronted her, Beverly expressed her displeasure about Penny and Leonard getting married without her. That was a little confusing, since she sure didn’t act like she cared when she first learned about it! But whatever… Penny offered to have a second private ceremony for Beverly now that she’s in town. Beverly agreed, so it looks like we’ll get to see a second Penny/Leonard wedding tonight!

On tonight’s episode, “The Convergence Convergence,” Chaos ensues when Leonard’s recently divorced parents, Alfred (Judd Hirsch) and Beverly (Christine Baranski), and Sheldon’s devoutly religious mother, Mary (Laurie Metcalf), come to town. Also, Wolowitz and Koothrappali think the government is out to get them when they are contacted about their guidance system.

Attend Penny and Leonard’s second wedding in the season finale tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Bones, Man vs Child: Chef Showdown, 2 Broke Girls, Beat Bobby Flay, & Impractical Jokers.
