Jenny’s Choice
On last week’s Scorpion, Walter was in a car accident, which wasn’t a big deal, but because he’d hit his head, he had to go to the hospital. While waiting, he met a young girl who was there to get a heart transplant. Unfortunately, before that could happen, a patient was rushed in and Toby recognized the symptoms and convinced the doctors to test his theory. When they did, they realized L.A.’s blood supply had been tainted. They had to race to figure out what happened, and they realized the man who’d created the vaccine to combat the disease (which had previously been eradicated) had purposefully tainted the blood supply by mixing up the labels of the clean blood and the tainted blood that was supposed to go to research. He wanted to be able to sell all the vaccine his company had made before the disease was eradicated. Fortunately, they were able to fix the problem and rescue the clean blood before it was locked away for government testing and just in time to save the little girl who needed the heart transplant. And Walter learned a big lesson about living life and having fun instead of being serious and working all the time. One funny story line was that after Sly’s big win on Price is Right, no other game show will let him come on as a contestant. Poor guy. He really wants to raise enough money to sponsor the hospital wing in Megan’s name.
