Jenny’s Choice
Last week, it was finally time for the Boyle-Linetti wedding on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and while I wish it had been Charles & Gina getting married (they’re too funny together!), we got to watch the craziness that led up to his father and her mother finally exchanging vows. They had to contend with Jake & Amy catching a bad guy and getting dirty and losing the ring in the process, only to find it yet then get it stuck on Jake’s finger. Also, Charles’s dad freaked out and decided he had crap decision-making skills so he almost didn’t go through with the wedding. In the end, though, it was a fun, sweet moment with a fairly awkward kiss, and it was well worth the wait and the build up to the wedding day we’ve waited for all season.
On tonight’s episode, “Captain Peralta,†Jake’s mainly absentee father, Roger (guest star Bradley Whitford, The West Wing, Trophy Wife), comes to town to spend some time with his son. Jake can’t wait to see him, but Charles is skeptical of Roger’s intentions. Meanwhile, Holt tasks Amy, Terry, Gina, and Rosa with an impossible brain teaser in exchange for Beyoncé tickets.
