Tonight is the UPtv movie Written in the Stars at 7/6c. A skeptic magazine writer teams up with an astrology guru for an article on a local meteor shower festival. It stars Kimberley Crossman & David de Lautour.
 
Tonight is the 1-hour special Prince: The Final Secret on Reelz at 9/8c. Prince had a nearly 40-year career as a singer, songwriter, producer, actor, director and rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Famer; Prince’s musical prowess and cultural sway were undeniable, but there was also a little-known side of the legend: his philanthropy.

Overnight was the series premiere of Swiping America on Max, along with a 2nd new episode. This sexy and true to life rom-doc dating series, Swiping America, follows a group of diverse singles from New York City (Ashleigh, Kesun, Kris, Reagan) on an introspective, eight-city dating app journey, as they explore personal issues around sex, relationships, love and connection. Each episode finds the group in a new American city (Asheville, NC; Miami, FL; Austin, TX; New Orleans, LA; Santa Fe, NM; Boulder, CO; Seattle, WA; and Honolulu, HI), as producers swipe through possible matches and curate blind dates for them. While forging a special friendship with each other over the course of the season, their journey culminates in Hawaii, where they hand-pick their best match from the season and ultimately decide whether their relationship can go the distance.
 
Overnight was the series premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City on AMC+. The show follows the popular Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror. It also stars Gaius Charles, Jonathan Higginbotham, Karina Ortiz, Mahina Napoleon, & Zeljko Ivanek.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Pretty Freekin Scary on Disney Channel at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. This multi-camera sitcom is based on the popular books, which follow the adventures of Frankie Ripp, a 14-year-old girl who has a seemingly perfect life — great parents, annoying little brother, lifelong BFF — until she dies; after some heated debate in the Underworld with the Grim Reaper herself, Frankie is allowed to return home, but only if she’s accompanied by her new Underworld guardians, Pretty and Scary; Frankie will now have to adapt to her ‘once-dead’ status in the most challenging setting of all… Middle School. It stars Eliana Su’a, Emma Shannon, Kyan Samuels, Leah Mei Gold, & Yonas Kibreab.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Booked: First Day In on A&E at 10/9c. The show follows arrested individuals through America’s booking process, offering an extraordinary look at the most unusual, bizarre and often tense bookings. Every day in America around 25,000 people are arrested and booked into jail. Each episode follows the story of an arrestee, with their permission, as they move through the system and recount what ultimately led them to their time in jail. From petty offenses to serious crimes, viewers will be taken on a harrowing adventure while they watch the arrestees throughout the booking process.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of Look Into My Eyes on Sundance Channel at 10/9c. This four-part limited series unfurls the bizarre story of Dr. George Kenney and his fall from grace after 10 years as a beloved principal at North Port High School in Florida where he practiced hypnosis on students. In 2011, three teenage students died after a series of suspicious events. When a local media story questioned his involvement, the case exploded into global news. The series investigates events leading up to these untimely deaths and the tragic aftermath as victims’ families, eyewitnesses, experts, and people involved attempt to unpack what really happened.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Morimoto’s Sushi Master on Roku Channel. The series features renowned chef and restauranter Masaharu Morimoto as head judge of a cooking competition centered on the world’s most popular cuisine: sushi. Hosted by Lyrica Okano (Marvel’s Runaways), the six-episode series highlights the skill, ingredients, delicacy and talent needed to perfect the art of sushi-making. Dakota Weiss & Kenji Lopez-Alt also serve as judges.

Back from the brink of death, highly skilled commando Tyler Rake takes on another dangerous mission: saving the imprisoned family of a ruthless gangster. Overnight was premiere of the documentary film Stan Lee on Disney+. Tied in to what would have been his 100th birthday, this documentary tells the story of the talented Stan Lee.
 
Overnight was the premiere of the feature film The Lost King on AMC+. In 2012, having been lost for over 500 years, the remains of King Richard III were discovered beneath a carpark in Leicester. For Philippa Langley, this was the culmination of years of obsessive research during which she had faced the incomprehension of friends and family and the derision of experts and academics. It stars Sally Hawkins, Steve Coogan, Harry Lloyd, & James Fleet.

Tonight is the series premiere of AEW: Collision on TNT at 8/7c. This is a live, 2-hour, in-ring show featuring more wrestlers, more stories and more action to super-serve fans. The new show will feature headliners including Thunder Rosa, Miro, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Andrade El Idolo.
 
Tonight is the series premiere Extraordinary Birder with Christian Cooper on Nat Geo Wild at 10/9c. Life-long birder Christian Cooper takes us into the wild, wonderful and unpredictable world of birds. Whether braving stormy seas in Alaska for puffins, trekking into rainforests in Puerto Rico for parrots, or scaling a bridge in Manhattan for a peregrine falcon, he does whatever it takes to learn about these extraordinary feathered creatures and show us the remarkable world in the sky above.

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Play Dead on Tubi. A woman breaks into a morgue to retrieve evidence related to a crime gone wrong only to learn the coroner uses the morgue as a front for a sick and twisted business. It stars Bailee Madison, Jerry O’Connell, & Anthony Turpel.
 
Tonight is the 3-hour investigative documentary Exposing Parchman on A&E at 8/7c. This investigative documentary explores the ongoing efforts to reform the Mississippi correctional system, led by a team of attorneys on behalf of Parchman Prison’s incarcerated population. This film features interviews with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, Recoreding artist and activist Mario “Yo Gotti” Mims, Mississippi Congressman Bennie Thompson, activist Tamika Mallory, family members of incarcerated men & more and highlights how Team Roc’s advocacy prompted the U.S. Department of Justice’s investigation.
 
Tonight is the TV movie Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman on Lifetime at 8/7c. The “Queen of Hip Hop Soul,” will be the queen of this summer with two new original movies inspired by Mary J. Blige’s biggest hits — Mary J. Blige’s Real Love and Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman, set to premiere on back-to-back Saturdays. The two-pack of movies are headlined by Ajiona Alexus (Empire, 13 Reasons Why) and Da’Vinchi (BMF, All American) with Princess Davis, Austin Anozie, Millan Tesfazgi, Shiraine Haas, Garfield Wilson and Hamza Fouad rounding out the cast and portrays the highs and lows of young Black love. The story of Kendra and Ben continues in Mary J. Blige’s Strength of a Woman, jumping ahead more than 15 years. Now a successful photographer, Kendra finds herself in a failing marriage and must reckon with the decisions she made for the life she thought she wanted. When Ben unexpectedly comes back into her life, she is forced to a crisis point and must dig deep to find the strength to take control of her life and accept the love Ben may be offering again.

Rebecca, a teacher, and Adam, an ad executive are excited to plan their Jewish wedding, but their wedding and future are put into jeopardy when Adam lands a new ad campaign, and their mothers meet. Starring Becca Tobin and Jake Epstein.
 
Tonight is the comedy special John Early: Now More Than Ever on HBO at 10/9c. In his first HBO comedy special, John Early brings his unique blend of cutting commentary, pop star swagger, and all-around loveable hilarity to Roulette Intermedium in Brooklyn, New York. In the style of a gritty 70s rockumentary, Early performs stand-up and explosive song covers from Britney to Neil Young, intercut with Spinal Tap-esque backstage sketches.
