Tonight, CBS launches the new reality series, Hunted, and I can’t wait to check it out. Nine teams of ordinary people will participate in a real-life manhunt as they try to evade capture for 28 days. Each team that manages to succeed will take home $250K! However, these contestants will be hunted by a team of highly-skilled investigators utilizing the latest technology. The Hunters in the field will work with the agents in the Command Center, looking at phone and browser histories and whatever else they can get their hands on to try to identify potential collaborators and figure out where the fugitives are hiding in the massive 100K-square-mile game area in the southeastern U.S. This show sounds so exciting, and I can’t wait to meet the investigators and fugitives and see how this adventure plays out. Who will let the pressure get to them, how will they slip up, and who will manage to evade capture for 28 days?!

On tonight’s premiere, “The Internet Never Forgets,” one team loses valuable time in their escape from town, and a pencil could foil another couple’s plan.

Watch the teams try to escape their pursuers tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: Tonight’s premiere airs after the football game on the East Coast, which means it will likely get delayed, so be sure to pad your DVR recording.

I’ll also be watching/recording Son of Zorn, Worst Cooks in America, The Librarians, The Young Pope, and Homeland.

The Librarians Episode 301 "And the Rise of Chaos" 5/6/16 IMG_8411I’m so excited because tonight is the season premiere of The Librarians on TNT. On the last season finale, the group had their hands full battling Prospero, who was wreaking havoc with modern technology because he wanted to create an idyllic forest utopia, no matter the cost. To stop him, Flynn and Baird had to travel back in time to 1611, while the others battled him in the present time. Fortunately, they were able to defeat him, which meant the season ended on a high note. The team is working together well, and at least in the first few episodes, Flynn is still working side by side with them. It’ll be interesting to see how much of the season Noah Wyle is around for!

On tonight’s episode, “And the Rise of Chaos,” when the Egyptian God of Chaos inhabits a human body, he attempts to release Pure Evil into the world, thus beginning the final battle of Good vs. Evil. In order to stop him, the Librarians must decipher a series of clues within a science museum, including a mysterious warning spoken by exhibit mannequins that have come to life.

See if the Librarians can stop Pure Evil from taking over tonight on TNT at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, NCIS: LA, Holiday Baking Championship, & Clash of the Grandmas.

goodbehavior1115smallTonight is the two-hour premiere of TNT’s new thriller Good Behavior. Letty Raines (Michelle Dockery, Downton Abbey) was released early from prison due to good behavior, but her life is still a mess. She lost all her parental rights to son Jacob (Nyles Julian Steele), and her mother Estelle (Lusia Strus, Cotton) doesn’t want to have anything to do with her. As Letty struggles to be a better person, she continues with her old habits of being a thief, a pickpocket, and a grifter. While robbing a hotel room, she overhears a hitman (Juan Diego Botto, Ismael) plotting to kill another man’s wife and soon finds herself mixed up in a dangerous and deadly new world. The series also stars Terry Kinney (Show Me a Hero, Oz) as Letty’s parole officer, Christian. The series comes from Chad Hodge and Blake Crouch, the writers/creators of the first season of Wayward Pines.

TNT has been airing sneak previews of the first half of tonight’s premiere this past week and have also made the uncensored episode available On Demand, as well as on iTunes, Vudu, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed the first episode. It is so tense and exciting, and Michelle Dockery gives an amazing dramatic performance. The episode ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, so I can’t wait to see how the story continues in the second half of tonight’s premiere!

On tonight’s episodes, “So You’re Not an English Teacher,” a lady con artist, newly sprung from jail and trying to go straight, gets entangled in a dangerous and seductive relationship with a killer. Then, in “Only the Best for Mrs. Diaz,” Javier forces Letty to pose as his wife to help him accomplish his next job at an upscale resort in the Smoky Mountains. As instructed, Letty befriends the target’s wife, but her true intent is to escape with the woman.

Get introduced to this new show tonight on TNT starting at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Middle, American Housewife, Fresh Off the Boat, The Real O’Neals, This Is Us, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, New Girl, Scream Queens, The Flash, No Tomorrow, Teen Wolf, Sweet/Vicious, Channel Zero: Candle Cove, Aftermath, and Shooter.

crowded315smallTonight, NBC kicks off its new family sitcom, Crowded, with back-to-back episodes. The series finds empty nesters Mike (Patrick Warburton, Rules of Engagement) and Martina Moore (Carrie Preston, True Blood, The Good Wife) finally starting to enjoy their freedom, when their daughters suddenly want to move back in. Bookish Shea (Miranda Cosgrove, iCarly) was the victim of a layoff and can no longer afford to live on her own, while wild child Stella (Mia Serafino, Shameless) is having problems with her boyfriend. And to make matters worse, Mike’s father Bob (Stacy Keach, NCIS: NOLA) and stepmother Alice (Carlease Burke, Switched at Birth) have cancelled their plans to spend their golden years in Florida now that their grandkids are going to be around.

I watched tonight’s first episode and found it to be a pretty standard family sitcom. However, I was surprised that this was an NBC series, because it felt a lot like one of those ABC Friday comedies, though maybe slightly more adult in the humor. However, since the series comes from executive producers Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, and James Burrows, who have a long history with NBC, that explains it. The cast is great, and I like the premise of the series, so I look forward to checking out tonight’s second episode to see more of what the weekly series is going to be like.

On tonight’s first episode, “Pilot,” Shea and Stella upend their parents’ plans when they move back home after college. Then in tonight’s second episode, “Present Tense,” Mike and Martina hope to re-spark their sex life, which has been dormant since the Stella and Shea moved home. Stella, meanwhile, helps Shea with a dating app.

Meet the newest TV family tonight on NBC at 10/9c & 10:30/9:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Limitless, Fresh Off the Boat, The Real O’Neals, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Grinder, American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, Chrisley Knows Best, Awkward., and Faking It.

"MAJOR CRIMES" "Hindsight Part 5" / Ep 423 TNT Ph: Doug HyunOver the last four episodes, Major Crimes has been dealing with one major case – the murder of a mother and her young son. They quickly tied those murders in to the murders of three people (including a cop and an ADA) ten years before, because the bullets had been fired from the same gun. The main suspect for those murders was a man who was now a pastor and community leader, supposedly out of the gang and drug life. Last week, they figured out that the murdered mother was actually the third person in car when the people were murdered ten years before. But they also figured out that the reverend’s younger brother (also involved in the church) was the one to make sure the getaway car and gun were taken care of after the original crimes. And he was the one who was currently moving drugs through the church, not his older brother. When the police confronted the older brother with that information, including figuring out that the brothers’ lawyer was involved. The reverend isn’t taking their word for it about his brother, though. At the end of the last episode, he was off to confront his brother, which is where it left off for this week’s season finale.

On tonight’s episode, “Hindsight – Part 5,” all the threads of seven murders are tied together, with the field of suspects narrowed to three. And Mark Hickman finally confronts the truth about his past as Capt. Raydor makes good use of a highly unreliable witness. Provenza and Patrice solve their wedding issues. [Note from Jenny: From the picture, sure looks like they’re having a wedding. 😉 ]

See how the case plays out tonight on TNT at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Cake Wars, Scorpion, Lucifer, NCIS: LA, & Blindspot.
